I knew the question would come someday and I wasn't sure at what age I would let her do it. I had my ears pierced at 9, but I remember wishing I could have got them earlier! LOL! Anyway..... When Sarah kept asking and then I found out her friend was getting hers done I decided to go ahead. Sarah & her friend Reganne were so excited to have their ears pierced! We took the girls down to the mall together, and they both did very well. Reganne went first (Sarah's request) and did really well. Sarah's turn and when they did the first one she gave me a look like she didn't know what to make of what just happened. She didn't cry though and she was brave for the next one. The girls were so excited to have their ears pierced.... of course now I get the constant question.... How much longer till we can take these out and put in new ones? LOL! Sarah got her birthstone (June). Here's a few photos to show them off! My little girl is growing up!

I had a wonderful trip to CO with the girls..... I will just share a couple photos of the two of them together during a hike we took to Garden of the Gods. I love how they both insist on wearing a dress/skirt and their pink hiking boots! So cute!
I can't believe it!! Karissa is already 10! I remember holding her as a baby and watching her grow. It seems like yesterday sometimes. She's such a sweet and beautiful girl. Her and Sarah have become the best of friends..... at times spending hours on the phone and in person they just love to play and hang out. Sarah loves to emulate all of Karissa's fashion sense and music (Although Sarah did pick out the birthday outfit and scarf below for Karissa!). She really looks up to her. For her birthday I was lucky enough to be out in CO and be able to do some photos of her! This was the year that Karissa turned 10 on Aug 10th of 2010! :)
